Quranic Cosmology in Shia Thought E04
In the beginning... there was not one Big Bang, but six.
Over the course of 123 billion years,
the universe has passed through one divine act of creation,
and six great cosmic explosions.
From each, a new heaven was born.
And now... we live beneath the seventh heaven.
It has been 13.668 billion years since the last Big Bang.
But in just 4.563 billion years,
a seventh explosion will ignite...
ushering in the eighth heaven.
The universe will expand again—
not just in size,
but in purpose.
This is not Western cosmology.
This is the view of Ayatollah Morteza Razavi—
rooted in the Qur’an and the teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt.
A cosmic vision...
Where time has meaning.
Where every heaven is a layer of destiny.
And where the end... is only the beginning.
